Kashmir to Kanyakumari a Ride

Kashmir  to  Kanyakumari

with the message
of
Save Girl Child and Child Education.

I my self along with my wife Smt. Jotshna Mishra, we conducted a Motor Cycle Expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on our Royal Enfield, DL 9SF 3641  with the message “Save Girl Child and Child Education”.

India is known to be home to largest numberr of poor people in the world. More than 40 percent of the Indian population is known to be illiterate and adverse financial conditions in India are reasons for lack of education for the girl child in Indian rural sector and at present 35 million girls in India do not attend school.

Although there are uproars about gender equality female infants are still killed before they could start their life. This is the fate of the girl child in our country. To address these issues we stopped 654 villages of 62 distracts 13 States of India during our motor cycle ride from top to bottom part of the  India, Kashmier to Kanyakumari.

The Kashmier to Kanyakumari expedition with a great mission was started from New Delhi for continuous run of 32 days. The total journey was 11,400 kms of great India. Our day used to begin at 6.00 in morning and drive till 6.30 in evening. We met lakhas of people including near about 80 thousand students on our way side schools also received good support from local TV channels and Newspapers to spread the message. We believe that we are a critical juncture in the fight against “Save Girl Child “

We started from Delhi to Srinagar via Ambala, Kangra, Dharamsala, Jamu from Srinagar we proced towards Baramula, Gulmarg ,Uri Sector than back to Srinagar. Than we started our journey from Kashmier to Kanyakumari covering places like  Pathankot,  Amritsar, Firojpur, Ganganagar, Bikaner, Nagur, Pushkar, Ajmir, Chitourgarh, Dhar, Ratlam,  Aurngabad, Jalgaon, Ajanta, Shiride, Nashik, Mumbai, Pune, kolhapur, Goa, Hubli, Hampi, Chtradurga, Helbed, Bellur, Myshore, Otty, Coimbatore, Trishur, Guryour, Munar, Kochi, Kotyam,Trivendaram and finaley at Kanyakumari.

We got very good response and realized about India, that there is lot of literature available on many aspects of life. It is not easy to understand the complex system of Indian life  style because the people are different it has different communities possessing different faith, social and cultural background, different languages and having different State Governments. There are few countries on earth with the enormous variety that India has to offer.

Indian is a male dominated society; they are always ill-treated at every step.  A girl child is never allowed to reside and survive freely. There was decline in female literacy and her position in the society.

Parents don’t send daughters for schooling thinking that the daughter is going to be getting married soon. This practice is lasting till today.  She is killed before being born while in mother’s womb itself. The situation has drastically bad these days. This is the downfall of humanity, morality and the values..

A little baby girl to love, it is a precious gift from the heavens above, girls are the mothers of the world. Educate a girl to educate future generations. Save the girl child, she is future....
