India is a land of colorful bazaars
We have been traveling various parts of
India consistently over the past 20 years. When we traveled, we have seen quite
a lot of local markets in different parts of this country which were
less famous as Street Market. The local markets of the town can be spotted at
various places while exploring the city.
It provides a variety
of colorful shots. For me it is a great opportunity to take some
photograph of street markets during my trip.
Local markets in India are one of most authentic experiences for
us. It is a cheap shopping destination but bargaining is the key in the
markets so one have to use the bargaining skills.
kathputli of Rajasthan's (Kath meaning wood and Putli meaning doll) mostly, they consist of painted wooden heads draped with dresses made
from old fabrics. The faces are usually painted yellow, white or any light
color. These colorful handmade and hand painted string puppets are one of the
finest examples of the most ancient and popular form of folk
entertainment.
It is a unique experience
to visit the famous Jagannath temple
and its surrounding local markets. Puri
street market is famous for its
wooden statues, stone statues, Lord Jagnnath craft items, Lord Jagannath traditional masks, stone idols, paper mache, sculptures, wooden toys and seashell art and crafts.

Pushkar's Sadar Bazaar is a long market covers about 1 km of street distance at which the small shop are lined up on both the sides and good place for picking up gifts.

Flower markets are each and every cities in south India. Mostly
women in South India wear Jasmine (Mali) flower on their head, it is a common
sight. Every morning, the women religiously put the flower on their head after
a bath. When a , It is believed that woman wearing the flower on her hair will
bring happiness to her household a symbol of love, good luck, and prosperity.

interesting things like handcrafts, artificial jewelries, hand loom, decoration materials, toy and
paintings many more. Almost every region has its own traditional form of art.

A street market normally set up outdoors is an open-air. Most market around the Temple. The entrance to the temple is lined up with some shops and local markets that sell the various religious souvenirs and the holy objects for the offerings inside the temple
