The closest railway station to reach Jageshwar is Kathgodam. a distance of 125 kilo meters.34 KM from Almora, has good connection with motorable roads. buses are operates on a regular basis.The oldest temples of Jageshwar Dham date from the 8th Century AD (built by Katyuri Kings) and the recent ones are believed to have been constructed in the 18th Century (Chand Rajas).
