Vivek Express,  Longest train in India by both time and distance. A journey is a pleasure and it is much more joyful to me if it is a train journey. It caters to all my excitement points : varied sizes of railway stations, exploring less known places, interesting food, the hustle bustle at the stations, young lads belting out songs to make some money, tea-chain-lock&key vendors making noise (although after a few stations you kind of start to enjoy it) and region specific intersting food and not to forget...the most interesting people . We have been traveling consistently over the past 20 years on motorcycle and sometimes by car. We both are passionate travelers and have traveled to most parts of India and explored the destinations in unique ways. We love to travel in India because there is simply nowhere like it. Every visit is different, every experience is unique, the people and the culture and the food of this great country India, makes it unique. During our road journey we had an opportunity of dining the entire period at the Dhabas, the road side restaurants. Dhabas are situated on highways and on the outskirts of the cities, towns and villages. They are most commonly found next to petrol stations and most of them are open 24 hours a day.
