This is one of the most stunning places that I’ve ever visited. One day  I  got some information through face book shared by Mr Taranisen Pattnaik, a great photographer and    the person  who is most  inspiring  for my life about   the r uined temple Gangesvari ,It is located at village Bayalishibati, Dist. Puri, Odisha. On his post he stated that the condition of the temple needs immediate attention which are lying in neglect, need urgent restoration and maintenance. By seeing the  pictures of this temple ,  I and my wife, we   are very   excited to see  the place. It is a distance of only 35 kms from my place, Puri-  Balighai- Gop- Bayalishibati.   On Sunday morning   8 am we started our journey on a 100 cc small bike.   A cloudy and breezy day offered us a wonderful ride. En-route   we pass through   many small town,   villages, temples, lush  green paddy fields and   many small rivers finally reached at the destination. Bayalishibati a very small vil

We have been traveling  various parts of India  consistently over the past 20 years .   When we  traveled,  we have seen quite a lot of local  markets  in different parts of this country which were less famous as Street Market. The local markets of the town can be spotted at various places while exploring the city.  It provides a variety of colorful shots. For me it is a great opportunity to take some photograph of street markets during my trip. India's silk, spice and coffee side “Dakshin Bharat” South India. S outhern India can get extremely hot during the summer months so when we were planning our Guinness trip, Longest Journey by Public Transportation in a Single Country, we made sure we visited it around  the end of February.  Visiting South India was a very different experience for both of us.  Southern India gave us a relaxing and invigorating experience. It has a rich Dravidian culture and history  which dominates with its ancient temples which truly are the symbol of magnificence. The breathtaking beauty of these temples make us feel humble and delighted. We visited many temples. We felt the  presence of God with every breath in every temple.  Many of the temples we see were constructed in the Dravidian style, of pyramid shaped towers. We observe a purity in the region's many temples.  When we enter temples in South India, the sound of the nadaswaram envelops the en

Journey on India's longest train route : 4273 km from Dibrugarh to Kanyakumari, by:- Durga Charan Mishra

Vivek Express,  Longest train in India by both time and distance. A journey is a pleasure and it is much more joyful to me if it is a train journey. It caters to all my excitement points : varied sizes of railway stations, exploring less known places, interesting food, the hustle bustle at the stations, young lads belting out songs to make some money, tea-chain-lock&key vendors making noise (although after a few stations you kind of start to enjoy it) and region specific intersting food and not to forget...the most interesting people . In India train rid es are always a treat and a must for anyone who truly wants to experience this country. I along with my wife   had the opportunity of our   lifetime to travel from Debrugarh to Katpadi Junction by Indian Railway train no 15906  Vivek Express departs from Dibrugarh every Saturday at 23:05 and arrives after 4 nights on Wednesday at 09.55 am at Kanyakumari..  The 82 hr 50 min journey covers 4,238km from Dibrugarh, no
