Winter is probably the best time to travel in state of Odisha. There is so much that anybody can enjoy during the winter tour in the state and indeed few things get better in this pleasant season. So I Plan a Family trip with my mother, grandson, wife, daughter-in-law and son to Mangalajodi, the unknown best pace in India for bird watching. Mangalajodi is an northern edge of Chilika lake very small village near Tangi in Khordha district of Odisha. 75 Km away from Bhubaneswar and 70 km from Puri lies on National Highway 16 connecting Kolkata to Chennai. We traveled by our car from Puri, it is quite a beautiful drive through small villages, pond, rivers and the most beautiful landscapes , as far as an eye can see. This is one of the most stunning places that I’ve ever visited. One day I got some information through face book shared by Mr Taranisen Pattnaik, a great photographer and the person who is most inspiring for my life about the r uined temple Gangesvari ,It is located at village Bayalishibati, Dist. Puri, Odisha. On his post he stated that the condition of the temple needs immediate attention which are lying in neglect, need urgent restoration and maintenance. By seeing the pictures of this temple , I and my wife, we are very excited to see the place. It is a distance of only 35 kms from my place, Puri- Balighai- Gop- Bayalishibati. We have been traveling various parts of India consistently over the past 20 years . When we traveled, we have seen quite a lot of local markets in different parts of this country which were less famous as Street Market. The local markets of the town can be spotted at various places while exploring the city. It provides a variety of colorful shots. For me it is a great opportunity to take some photograph of street markets during my trip. S outhern India can get extremely hot during the summer months so when we were planning our Guinness trip, Longest Journey by Public Transportation in a Single Country, we made sure we visited it around the end of February. Visiting South India was a very different experience for both of us. Southern India gave us a relaxing and invigorating experience. It has a rich Dravidian culture and history which dominates with its ancient temples which truly are the symbol of magnificence.
